Apparently it's some bloke Jamie McCart from Rotherham, another CB.

I'd be surprised but happy, as Rotherham let another CB go to Bradford yesterday. McCart was the CB mentioned who played for 15 minutes in the FA cup.

Sounds like a decent acquisition on paper. Quite experienced, left footed, to replaced Happe and played 10 times in the championship this year.

so we can expert a winger/number 10 in and a number 9 also this week. Wasn't expecting another CB...

also.
Jamie sounds like a more physical, more experienced version of Ed Turns..ball playing, left sided CB to replace Happe. Where does it leave Ed Turns?

Shows how impressed Richie was with Turns on Saturday then.....
We only started looking for a CB last week after the disaster with Beckles, Happe and Ogie, yet have managed to find 2. It does show that we can move quickly.

As cover for Ogie . I’m pleased with this signing and sounds just what we needed. I would now assume it’s Adam Thompson and Jamie McCart to start on Saturday against Stevenage .

I have never heard of him, but lets hope he has a successful spell with us. Ed Turns should play against Stevenage. He did nothing wrong on his debut.

Yes , that’s a fair and valid point

Wasn’t Adam Thompson’s previous club Rotherham ? . I don’t know but I wonder if they have already played alongside each other in the same Rotherham defence.

What we really need now is a striker . Hopefully somebody with a proven track record. ( Not easy, I know)

I can see a touch of irony if a player from Rotherham helps us get promotion considering what happened at Wembley. Good luck Jamie

No , he did nothing wrong but I’d be surprised if we didn’t start on Saturday with Thompson and McCart .

McCart has been in the frame for weeks. He was Wellens preferred choice. Rotherham had to sign their man first (the Cardiff old boy) before letting cover like McCart go out on loan. I'd guess we moved far more quickly for Turns than McCart. With the season being as long and intense as it is, Turns will get opportunities and as well as he's done Thommo can be eased back to full fitness. Don't want him breaking down after 4-5 games.

I think Thompson was also from Rotherham. Although Rotherham did that game proud by surviving in the championship for three seasons it would be a nice compliment and much appreciated so fingers crossed.

No one seemed to see that coming - no rumours etc. Wonder who's lined up next?
