Has anybody heard any rumours as to the centre half’s we are chasing. I would have thought that because of the situation we are in that the club would have brought in at least one CH by now. We don’t want to be in the position of no one in before Saturdays game.

Relax , it's only Tuesday and I'm very confident we'll have somebody in before our home game against Barrow on Saturday . I'm thinking we'll probably hear something tomorrow or Thursday .

Terry Mancini on a two and a half year deal.

For some reason I've a sneaky feeling we won't sign anyone this week

Not sure if he's a squaddie, but Ethan Light officially joined today.

I have a feeling that another CB could turn up on loan as early as tomorrow, but not in time to feature at Welling. If I'm right, his parent club have sorted out adequate cover in that position so our man is now free to move. Nobody is ever here until they sign though....

With no announcement yet on any new CB coming in on loan I was just thinking about what Richie said in his interview . The club was looking at a choice. of between four potential signings and if they couldn't get any of those first choice four , there was a second list of four players but the club didn't really want them . IMO, if we can't sign any of our first choice four then just totally forget the second four . I would rather we winged it with the players we already have then bring in any CB the club didn't really want . I think that would only be a waste of money .

Don't really want to be going into the game at Stevenage with a make shift centre half though. As good as Brown was Doncaster didn't bombard us aerially like Stevenage will.

I appreciate that fact .We do need cover at CB but I hope it's somebody we really wanted from any of our first. four choices

Bad mistake for Mansfield's second goal on Saturday. Fortunately for them they got away with it.
