Jayden Wareham

Is there any point to him still being with us? Hasn't come up to standard in the period of his loan to date; Richie fishing for another striker and Harry Smith possibly coming back as an option. All of this means his opportunities are probably going to be even more limited. May as well save the money (if we are contributing) and use the squad place for someone who will assist us better than he has been able to.

I'll be amazed if we are contributing. If we are, we shouldn't be, same for any of these squad filling kids.

The fact that Harry Smith hasn’t even been named on the bench since he has been eligible to play is pretty strong evidence that he is finished here.

As far as I know he's not eligible until the 11th January.

In which case I could be wrong. I get the impression that Smith isn’t exactly high energy enough for Wellens, but we’ll wait and see.

Be interesting to see if Smith plays in the friendly at Welling on Wednesday

Should've asked your boss, what with him being omniscient an' all.

You'd think that in part it was organised for him and others not seeing regular action to stretch their legs. Being relatively local, I shall go and take a peep.

I guess Nkrumah will play for Welling, his loan to them has been extended until the end of the season. They also have Antony Papadopoulos, Jamie Sendles-White, and Ade Azeez, who have all played for the Os. Perhaps Ethan Light might get his first run out for us.

I was thinking the same about Ethan Light.

At the Q & A Richie said he liked Harry but he wanted regular football and that couldn't be guaranteed so he was looking elsewhere, I suspect he'd only be used if we were desperate.

Having played for Exeter, if Harry plays for us in January, he then cant play for another EFL club this season, so I guess will then be committed to us for the rest of the season.

He's already played for us this season, so what difference does it make if he plays again?

You are correct, makes no difference if he plays for us again, not sure he can play for a third EFL club now.

It’s already been said, he can’t play for a 3rd EFL club this season.
So he either plays for us, or goes on loan to a NL club or just runs down his contract.

I think we had as much to do with the young man returning to Chelsea, as they recalling him.
I think we'll bring in a better striker now
