Salford are set to offer a contract to former Bolton captain David Wheater.

Forest Green have had a bid of £25k turned down by Peterborough for former Os target Matt Stevens.

Winger Louis Dennis who the Os have enquired about taking from Pompey played and starred in their 11-0 demolition of UCD last night. Chances of getting that one done now seem unlikely.

Pity - he would have been a genuine coup.

Looks like he's forcing his way into Pompey's plans for this season, shame he is just the sort of flair attacking player to compliment what we already have.
