Rested players. Played two days ago, fatigue.
No need to panic.

No panicking however Drinan is clearly not playing well. Overachieved last season? Looking that way. Smyth needs some support in Jan.

Only 2 teams have scored more than us.

Behave.

What was El Miz thinking when he passed to nobody when in front of goal 10 yards out

I agree, it's beginning to look like we need something extra up front . Saying that though we should already have enough firepower with who've got .

I didn't watch or listen to the game but going by all your comments it sounds like we had one of those nights where nothing paid off . At least we didn't lose . We must play better against Northampton on Monday or we will lose .

Drinan needs "Smudger" to feed off
Good old Orient lose Johnson
Then "Smudger"
Kelman ain't gonna make it
Moncur is nothing but a Show Boater
"Smudger" scorers for fun
All that scoring talent gone to waste

I still don't think Moncur is 100% fit after his recent illness .

Would like to also see another attacking midfielder come in through the door. No cut is quality but again a lot rests on his shoulders. If he is off form or injured we seem to be a little bit flat.

Without the Smyth or Theo moment of genius every game there is a lack of goals in general

Needs someone with the nous to get in the positions in and around the box to snaffle home those loose balls. We have willing runners but not what you'd call an intelligent / "fox in the box" striker

Drinan hasn't looked right since his injury in summer, as Jabo said he didn't look like he believed he was going to get through and score tonight.

Sotiriou continues to flatter to deceive without making any meaningful impact and Wareham hasn't had much time to show either way.

Just needs a slightly more experienced head amongst the attacking options to bring that something extra.

Also another attacking CM to compete with Moncur would be good as for various reasons George hasn't ever really got to full match fitness it seems.

RW just said on interview a couple coming in during the window. Understandably keeping cards close to chest though you'd fancy it being those attacking positions he'll be looking at.

Games earlier in the season we were at 15 + shots , nowhere near that recently .

Part of that is teams adapting to us. That number of shots is never going to be sustainable.

It’s partly why we have so many clean sheets. 80% of the teams play us with the intention of stopping us scoring rather than scoring themselves.

Agree with the comments about getting in some attacking players but still not time to panic

Weve suffered with Moncur not being 100 % fit, RW managed the minutes well tonight .Pratley n Smyth rested . Moncur gets 65 minutes in . Happier to drop 2 points tonight & go to sixfields all 3 raring to go .

I wonder if Richie meant the deals for those two players has already been done .My guess is you're probably right about what positions are being strengthened

With RW pulling the transfer strings no panic necessary, he'll know what he wants now just up to the board to provide the backing

HE CLEARLY SHOULD HAVE PASSED IT TO THE INSIDE OF THE GOAL .

I’d like to see Wareham be given a start. Kelman and Drinan work hard but don’t really look dangerous, Drinan had our only decent shot in the 1st half.
Our best chance fell to El Miz’ and he passed sideways when about 10 yards from goal with just the keeper to beat.
Moncur doesn’t look fit to me and did little tonight of note.
180 minutes of play with no goals scored, isn’t great, but I’m more worried that we aren’t creating many chances.
Thankfully Vigs and the defence are doing their bit……….Not a time to panic, but I hope we bring in some quality in January to see us over the line.

Wareham showed he’s absolutely not the answer, again. Their CBs had an easy run when Drinnan went out wide right.

The main problem tonight was we couldn’t play out from the back. If Pratley had been playing, that would have been different.

He could have missed that too. The pass for the tap in was the right idea, it just didn't come off. I've seen many one on one shots go straight at the keeper over the years.

And there is the mistake , pass into the net & a one on one shots going straight at the keeper

We’ve achieved the position we’re in without an out-and-out goalscorer who looks capable of banging in 20+ goals, for the season has been built on the best defence we’ve had in years, so in that sense I’m not worried. But some real firepower up front would undoubtedly help, and I’d suggest we’d need more in that department in L1 next season if we do get promoted.
