One or two of them have already got full time jobs as propagandists for Israel so they won't go short.Jonathan wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:21 pm Very strange name for a party that doesn't actually want to change much.
They say they dont want a change of government for a start
They say they want a peoples vote, but as long as it isnt a bye election in their constituencies.
No doubt after the next General Election when they get wiped out, they will get jobs in the City of London or directorships in companies etc
What’s that supposed to mean?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:47 pmOne or two of them have already got full time jobs as propagandists for Israel so they won't go short.Jonathan wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:21 pm Very strange name for a party that doesn't actually want to change much.

Except of course it isn't a notion at all. Israel funds a UK lobby to protect and promote their interests.Red_Army wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 4:01 pm Having an opinion favourable to the existence of the state of Israel doesn't automatically mean that you are in their pay. The notion that Israel uses financial incentive to fund support overseas also plays into anti-semetic tropes about Jews using money to run the world

There was an investigation by Al Jazeera into the lobby which shows on film an Israeli Embassy employee offering £1m to Joan Ryan MP to promote the interests of Israel through vehicles like Labour Friends of Israel. Its all free to view on YouTube.
I don't know about you but I'm not comfortable with a UK elected representative working as an agent of a foreign power.
Not to mention their many contravention of International Law and their illegal occupation of neighbouring countries territory. As well as their suppression and brutal murder of innocent Palestinians.
