.. Spurs offer for Happe - and we have supposedly turned it down.!!

If true, then quite right to turn that offer down. Now is not the right time to sell young Dan. If a bid for £500,000 plus comes in, then may be worth considering.

The money wasn't the point. First time I've heard of Spurs interest, and that we turned down the offer!

.. Not supposedly going to war, we are definitely going to war, as we have a pact with Poland.

If teams like Spurs are interested we haven't got a chance of keeping him.

Hopefully theres a few teams like Leicester and Spur interested and we can create a buzz/bidding war. IMO £500,000 with a sell on is pretty fair.

Can't believe this. Spurs must have half a dozen 18-21 centre halves on their books who are better than him.

Although if genuine, that's one hell of an opportunity and he has to go. And would be good for us to re-establish that relationship we had with them a few years back.

Can this be merged with the existing thread please mods? It was bad enough having two identical Myles Judd posts going for three pages each.

Not at all. It's just highly annoying when people cannot see existing threads and post clickbait titles. Nothing to do with being uncomfortable.

I think it would be great if we could get £500K and then have him back for the season on loan. That's what's being talked about.

Spurs fitness training will add a few extra yards of pace. Look what they did with Kane and Bale.

He's so young, you can't tell either way. He may gain a yard of pace, he may not. Time will tell. Plenty go to bigger clubs and end up in non-league. I wish him the best if he is off.

Yes - this or get a player from them on loan for a season in the sale.

Kane certainly did gain speed. Shows what a youngster can do with dedication.

But how many of these centre halves have real men's football experience like Danny? None of them! Better than him? Neither of us know.
