Joined Mansfield Town this morning on a "Free" after scoring 22 goals last season for financially troubled Bury. "Age does not weary them" definitely applies in Maynard's case, (as well as our Jobi's!) All about hard work, fitness and being a dedicated professional I guess...........

Decent player appears to be a good professional as well. Good luck to him, at least hell get paid now.

Hope he gets paid.............I read yesterday that Bury are in deep financial doo dah and are without a Manager, and nobody`s been paid for a few weeks....................I think Notts County are have similar problems.

Notts county have no money and no potential new buyer absolutely desperate times at a great old club. Also hearing a few whispers about Cambridge United whose backer appears to be stopping his support for the club.

Macclesfield in bags of trouble too.

We've seen this first hand, horrible experience and feel for the fans and players suffering this.

Expect Mansfield to accept the bid “ from an unnamed League Two side “ for Danny Rose within the next 48 hours.

Different players have different age/ability curves though, so not as simple to say he will be good because McAnuff is.
