Good to be updated and some good initiatives. The club obviously must keep the fanbase up to date with everything relevant to the match day experience, which is one of the things we can improve to attract more fans.

Well that's your opinion. Anyone who has the club at heart will welcome these improvement updates, as small as they are.

Don’t know how anyone can complain about getting an update from the CEO about some stuff the club is doing.

I very much appreciate the improvements , I just dont need a ceo having to do videos or write posts about every detail of the club . There are far more important things for him to be getting on with .

The number one concern for any ceo of any business should be customer engagement. He knows that. Shame you don’t.

A CEO's Number 1 focus is making the
buisness the best it can be .
Now, Customer engagement goes through PR .
Youve been gone a while wums, you can have your mulligan now if you want it .

Wait, you’re actually saying “I don’t appreciate direct communication from the top - I demand to have any goings on at the club delivered by PR people”
Bit weird.
Like saying “I demand to NOT speak to the manager”

How do you think our business, which relies on a very small amount of people to stay viable, can be the best it can be without fan engagement.
Either way, Devlin disagrees with you and he’s paid, in part, to keep us up to date. Richie also agrees as he’s constantly banging on about fan engagement.
Sorry old mucker, I know you’re on your high horse about no one
At the club being accountable to the minion fans, but it’s a weird hill to die on and I you’re clearly on your last legs up there

What is true is that the club has never communicated as well as it did when the message board’s very own The Cat was doing fan engagement stuff, and actually made the off-the pitch stuff compelling and insightful and with a lot of charm. We do miss that aspect, but actually criticising good communication is mad.

Devlin doesnt disagree with me
Devlin has a job & does what is in his remit as
Is layed out by NT .
I have no need to hear that floodlights are
Updated , I can use my own eyes to see this &
Anything else i need to know .
Fan engagement with playing staff from
Richie Wellens is fine & good .
The fact that a lick of paint has been
Applied iin the East stand is really beyond
Basic programme notes .
Hardly a Monthly update needed .&
Certainly not the job of the CEO .
Macklin spent far more time On dealing with ground sponsors club sponsors etc etc .& had a bit of chat on zoom calls & Board meetings to & with the fans .
My legs are still good ta

Keep doing what you’re doing Devs. Much needed ground improvements and a nice statement that probably only took 15 mins but will do wonders for fan engagement.
Ignore the negative bedwetters on this thread

It went down so well tbat the vudeo was hardly seen then a thread about the present & past ceos popped up .
And Nigel got him to write a big old post on here about it.
Still you carry on wanting to know all
Can I ask you to get an update from the kitman
And what washing powder provider we use .
Or the groundsman & what paint gets used on the grass
to mark out the pitch ?
