No, I've never heard of him either but it doesn't mean to say he isn't good enough . As with all new signings we have to wait and see how he play's first before we write him off .

From Premier league to Walthamstow . It will be a culture shock for the lad .

Sounds like heβs a well thought of prospect and plays as a βnumber 6β. Sounds like a good signing on paper. I just worry that an βenforcerβ in midfield will find mens hard difficult but hopefully heβll get up to speed quickly.

Some will give him at least 20 mins before writing him off

Making arguably our most important signing of the summer a 19 year old kid on loan who's never played senior football would be peak Ling.
Not writing him off, but it's ridiculously on brand for the club.

Still time to bring in a couple more players . I don't know but maybe he's one of the cheap loan's Riche was talking about .

Three inexperienced kids all battling it out for the most important position in the team. Fantastic.

Indications here that Southampton think he will one day play at the highest level.

In the past Southampton never loaned youngsters. I wonder when that changed?

Might as well be given our track record with signings Premier League teamsβ players on loan. Heβll get about 20 mins game time all season
