Yes. More news overnight of Trump recorded ‘seeking votes’, the odd 11k or so. The plot thickens, he may be losing it also, who knows?
if you're referring to that private phone call ,he didn't know he was being recorded and as usual he's being taken out of context. Anyway, open your eyes, There's a lot more people than Donald Trump saying it was stolen. I figure it's about 80 million Republicans who also believe it .PoliticOs wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:20 am Then why didn't he say that? He was begging and bargaining and exerting force. He didn't say how or why they were his, just kept asking if there was fraud as he has nothing. What he did was completely wrong and if it wasn't just 16 days from him leaving would have resulted in successful impeachment.
But we'll see on Wednesday. They'll be amateur theatre from those in the GOP that want to ride the Trump train of popularity, but nothing is stopping Biden coming in on the 20th. I think you know that.
Even when he does you'll still think it was a stolen election because Donald told you it was despite the fact it just doesn't stack up. I don't blame you for it, he has his own weird bit of charisma, I just think you are ignoring your head for your heart.
Of course they believe it. The alternative would be to have to admit to themselves that the person they idolise is a liar. And that would have some bearing on their self image. Does that in any way sound familiar?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:32 amif you're referring to that private phone call ,he didn't know he was being recorded and as usual he's being taken out of context. Well, if he didn't know he was being recorded putting pressure on election officials to 'find' votes, that is absolutely fine.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:32 amif you're referring to that private phone call ,he didn't know he was being recorded and as usual he's being taken out of context. It makes me sad to think you believe this guff. You're living in a fantasy world in which a guy who's losing/lost his marbles is an oracle and any source that disagrees with him is in on this global conspiracy. Does it not strike you as odd that the conspiracy is never the same, that the fraud was done in about a million different ways, instigated by different actors with different aims? That the president's key lawyers are Gulliani and that woman who said this was all being done by Chavez from beyond the grave?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:32 amif you're referring to that private phone call ,he didn't know he was being recorded and as usual he's being taken out of context. Going by what I've been watching I think , Georgia , Wisconsin , Pennsylvania, Micihisgan and Arizona are as bent as a nine bob note . If that election stands then they truly are mini banana republics . Honestly, it wouldn't be worth voting in those states ever again.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:31 pmIt makes me sad to think you believe this guff. What's your threshold of proof to admit you're wrong?

But these are generally republican run states. Do you not find it odd that there hasn't been a scrap of certifiable evidence that has stood up in court? That it's only the states he lost that are bent? That republican controlled legislatures generally gerrymander like hell but couldn't swing it this time? That Georgia elected a pro trump governor using voter suppression a couple of years ago, but now is in the pocket of the democrats?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:47 pmGoing by what I've been watching I think , Georgia , Wisconsin , Pennsylvania, Micihisgan and Arizona are as bent as a nine bob note . From what I have read, the military will not support him if he attempts to do this in an effort to change USA from being a democracy to a one party dictatorship.Clive Evans wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 2:50 pm A lot of Yanks getting nervous that Trump will ask the Military to get involved.
Trump hero worships Dictators like Putin and Kim Jong-un, he just wants to join the Dictator club and establish a family dynasty of having a Trump as permanent ''Dear Leader'' of the USA. Trump disdains old Allies of America and much prefers the company of ''Strong men'' leaders of his countries enemies. He has been well caught out here with this recorded phone call, but such is the bizarre hero worship of this egomaniac that whatever he does, his voter base is so bewitched and under his spell that they will still follow his every word and believe whatever lies and nonsense comes out of his mouth. Not the first time this has happened , the fascist murderer Hitler in the 1930s had a similar effect on the German people.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 2:11 pmBut these are generally republican run states. More than that, is it not suspicious to you that Trump was insisting it was gonna be a bent election before it even took place, but never actually specificied where or how, and has gone through dozens of wild theories to since substantiate his lies? Are you not going to reflect on the fact you yourself said the election was rigged before any of this batsh*t 'evidence' came forward?
