I'd love to.Though I won't go out if it's a non working scenario.May need some food sometime.

Replying to a previous post.
I notice it's some smaller tube stations and the Waterloo and City Line. The ones with interchanges will be kept open AFAIK.Not Sure what's closed if any on the main lines. Not really much point keeping them all open but keeping others open strategically.

My old mum has just been told her 91 year old twin brother will be cremated Thursday , only his son can attend but there will be no service , he can just accompany his dad to the crematorium and won't even be allowed in , I'm pleased in a way cos mum wanted to go but can now stay in isolation 🤔🤔

Trains busy as ever today, was about 60 odd bods on my platform this morning. Deliberately missed the first train and waited 10 minutes as I didn't fancy a packed service

Banning all but key workers from public transport won't be far off at this rate

Deaths below 50 again, sounds like a bizarre thing to say but this is good news because at the same time in their trajectory Italy was experiencing jumps of a few hundred

Yep. Italy's corresponding daily jump 14 days ago as of yesterday was 133. So far we haven't seen that kind of increase.

Although, just to point out, the deaths across all of GB today was 54. It was 46 just in England.

We will do well to keep the daily deaths in double figures.

Just popped out to pick up my repeat blood thinner prescription. Had to go hunting for it because the local chemist hadn’t got his stock in. Anyways, I drove past a MacDonalds drive-thru, where there was a queue of at least 50 cars getting a last BigMac fix. The melts. Just wait til Greggs closes down tomorrow. Oh, the humanity!

Flights still coming into Heathrow.I saw a few planes yesterday when I was around at Twickenham.

I think the thickos should realise that if this continues like it probably will that there wont be a nice spare comfortable hospital bed for them if they need it.

Judging by the number of kids in the park with parents in tow on my walk home. Coupled with pictures of the tube this morning, I'd imagine the government will compel isolation sooner rather than later

FCO has issued a statement to all Britons abroad, for business or leisure, to get home immediately. There's a possibility of grounding of all commercial passenger aircraft within days.

Oh, and you may have missed it, but the government has also nationalised the railway franchises. The operators are to be paid an ongoing management fee for now. It's incredible that things that would have been huge news a few weeks ago now barely get a mention.

I'm sure the railways will be straight back into private hands when there is money to be made again.

Hang on, I thought it was impossible to take back the railways?

😢

Got the military out in Italy.Wonder if they will need that here.

Some people at my work are doing extra days overtime.Seems like lunacy to me.I don't think we are that stretched. If they pick up anything on the outside they risk infecting close family.

I think it's being handled wrong. We should be on call.We still risk being in close proximity with other people with no protection.
