Think Hornchurch FC are going for it by signing up Steve Morrison as the new manager last month. Must be on a few quid. Hopefully not a route to major debt
Who was it they signed from us and then went bust dropping a few divisions. Edit: 2003–04 season saw them go bust and drop three divisions from the Conference South. Harvest is on loan there.
Micky Beale got the heave-ho from Sevco at the weekend. Radio Clyde's Superscrotesboard phone in has been brillyint this week.
One Celtic fan phoned in this week for the first time to say that the previous two days shows had been absolutely fantastic.
The presenter, with a proud sparkle in his voice, asked him which bits he liked best. The caller replied by saying that listening to greetin' Sevco fans was a joy to behold.

Regardless of what club they are at, football managers regularly leave their jobs, mainly due to getting sacked, Celtic and Rangers being no exception.

Back on foe. Lifting the block to read this post was enough.

Grow up Max !

Currently top of the Isthmian, P8 W6 D2, although beaten by Conf South Aveley in the FA Cup qualifying. Just seen Haringey are bottom after an appalling start, hope they turn that around pronto.

Watched FTC Jnr play V Hornchurch in the FA Yoof Cup earlier this season. Crowd of 300 + which mainly consisted of beered up morons abusing the opposition players aged 16-18. Quietly enjoyed seeing them lose on pens.
For that balanced reason I hope their season implodes quickly. Conversely always enjoyed the odd trip to Haringey. FTC Jnr's Isthmian adventures are taking me to fabulous venues such as Pitsea and Felixstowe. Quicker the not so little f*cker learns to drive, the better as am in serious danger of enjoying non-league football much more than I have Orient for the last 3 years.

In fairness, saying "football managers sometimes get sacked!" didn't really add too much to the discussion, did it Sid?
Just a statement of fact. Max was writing about a radio show and comments by a Celtic fan gloating about Rangers manager Micky Beale getting the..... ...I quote ''heave-ho'' from his job. Well this same fate happens to quite a few football managers, nothing that unusual about that happening, thus this thread ''Manager Merry Go Round'' !

Thank you for clarifying the point Sid and putting the matter beyond all doubt. You're still on foe.

Look forward to your searing insights later on Saturday, such as "sometimes a team will win a football match and other times they might lose!"
