Here is the news. It is possible to do the above and still NOT be a Corbyn supporter.
I know, I know. I'm the opposite to you. I take every opportunity, no matter how tenuous, to have a dig at the guy and smear his name, and yet I AM a Corbyn supporter.

Only because your lot were guaranteed to win with that liability β€˜leading’ the opposition.

Looking like the war is moving to another level. Stark choice for the West, let Ukrainian get destroyed or get involved without any real idea of what that would lead too. The hope that Putin would be defeated from within ain't gonna happen. Big decisions to be made in the next few days.

Russia may stage a radiation leak and blame it on Ukraine (so-called "false flag") as an excuse to ramp up their response with more deadly force - eg chemical weapons. Ukraine has said that Russian refrigerated cars are picking up bodies of dead Ukraine soldiers near Chernobyl to plant as "killed saboteurs".

Russia looks increasing unlikely to win the war by conventional means and they are seeking justification/excuses for doing something on the "next level", and trying to drag the West/NATO in.

Reading the article raises the question whether Johnson is actually a fit and proper person to lead this country at any time but especially so when national security is under threat.

Boris Johnson is completely owned by billionaire Russians in my view.
It's far more than just Russians being donors, they own him.
Remember a couple of years ago when Newsnight portrayed Jeremy Corbyn in a Lenin type hat, standing in front of the Kremlin, to give the impression he was a Russian supporter, when all the time it was the Government, and conservative types that were selling Britain to the Russians
Johnson should be put on trial, for treason before he does any more harm to this country

A nakedly corrupt and evidently narcissistic leader, surrounded by a phalanx of accommodating acolytes, enriched his supporters with liquidised public assets and spurious government schemes, flagrantly broke international treaties, trashed domestic political standards, systematically flooded social media with fake news, used his power over the press to spread disinformation over many decades, sought to destabilise the EU, had fruitful meetings with far right figures in Europe and America, weaponised nostalgic nationalism, and allowed refugees to be used as cannon fodder in an ongoing border dispute. But now is not the time for Keir Starmer to call for Boris Johnson’s resignation.

The prime ministers of Poland, Slovenia and Czechia are going to meet with Zelensky in Kyiv today!

It's not clear how they will be travelling there (or back), but it is brave of them to show such solidarity while the area is an active warzone. But I can't help wondering what will be the reaction if a stray shell or missile lands on their heads. This is one of those actions that could have huge consequences if something goes wrong.

Is it possible the Russians have given them safe passage guarantees? Don't know why they can't just do a Zoom call.

Yet when Branson does this, he's lauded as a business genius?

Anyone heard from Edward Snowden recently? I guess he's finally finding out what it's really like to live in a secretive state that controls the media and restricts your rights.

Isn't the reason he took refuge in Russia that he exposed the US secretive state, where rights are restricted?

I think it's because he leaked classified information and then defected to Russia to avoid facing up to the consequences of his actions. I wonder if he's re-evaluating his life choices right now?

Anyway, we digress; Has Ed been in touch lately?

What was the nature of the classified information and what did it reveal about the US?

Why should he fave up to the consequences if his actions. The US never does? Strange remark.

Ed has no reason to contact me or even know who I am. I'm not a supporter of his new home country.

Ukraine is a line in the sand for the West and what is left of its democracies that is why I support the fight against the military intervention.

Ahem, that's "Special Military Operation" if you please.
