Thats really not how this government do things.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 5:12 pm Not particularly for extra restrictions at this point but surely would make more sense to do them now whilst a lot of people are off work and schools are out?

I'm not trying to terrify anyone
Prove it?Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:29 pm Its not milder, its just that most people have some immunity now from vaccines or previous infection.
I get that , but it hasn’t killed dozens. The death rate has remained constant and Delta is still the main cause of death. Omicron will prove to be nothing more than an inconvenience made worse by Governments who are terrified of making more mistakes. If you have been jabbed and boostered all will be fine .Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:08 pmI'm not trying to terrify anyone
My intention, with all my posts, is to point out that while Omicron appears to be less deadly than Delta, it is still a disease that will and has hospitalised and killed dozens (so far) and is more than "Just a cold".
Can you clarify what is meant by "milder"Story of O wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 8:10 am Most doctors and Scientists are saying it looks like it is milder, but what do they know.

Well yes it has (as per UKHSA official reports) and with hospitalisations picking up that'll increase.George M wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:00 amI get that , but it hasn’t killed dozens.
