Probably. Unless we exhaust our testing facilities and see a "false plateau" just because we can't test all the people who want to be tested.

Once Xmas is over and "Missing Christmas" changes to "Days off work" we might see an increase of people with symptoms coming forward.

Instead of acting on the result of the problem , as we always do , we should be sharpening our efforts along with WHO to attack the cause. We should be insisting on countries achieving 80% vaccination and placing restrictions on those that don’t. Until this happens , we may be dealing with variants for years and others may be more destructive than this one.

As we were told and as I have said all along. Everyone will come into contact with Omicron before the end of the year. Infection numbers were predicted weeks ago. If , as is being reported , numbers double every two days , shouldn’t that figure have been reached already.

Re: Coronavirus
It's estimated that 1 in 3 current Covid patients may have contracted Covid while in hospital for non covid conditions. It appears to be a serious problem with more and more staff off sick or self isolating

Also very likely that London is over the peak of infections, If it follows the South African model infections should fall quite quickly.

Not disputing it. I find it difficult to know who to believe anymore. Sticking to my views and hope this comes to nothing. 122k cases today. Hospitalisations in the past 7 days are up 8%, though that won't necessarily yet reflect the huge increase in cases over the past few days.

Re: Coronavirus
Getting back to what somebody said earlier, I can't say I'm disappointed that our game at Colchester has been postponed . I have a feeling we would have lost that game something like 2-0. It gives our players more of a rest and a chance to recover from any covid related issues . Plus by the time the game is played we should have one or two more new signings in the building

Re: Coronavirus
Saw on a news programme yesterday Germany are considering charging anyone that has not been vaccinated for their treatment if they require hospitalisation for COVID.
Same report was also saying that unvaccinated people hospitalised in the latest surge in the UK specially London are pleading to be vaccinated when they are admitted.
