Tuffers the Democrats are not crowing about victory, why is that? Do they know something they are not telling us? Possibly? The fact remains the media do not call out winners thats down to the electoral commission and the last I heard they had not done so. Maybe we should all wait untill their is a final conclusion?

The problem is the result will not be known officially until 6th January when the electoral officers submit there votes. They do not have to go with the vote, if they think the public is wrong. I kid you not. That is American democracy for you.

So-called "faithless electors" leave themselves open to state criminal proceedings and massive fines personally, should they vote against the wishes of the public vote in their state. That's not to say they won't, but it's extremely unlikely.
