He looks to be the type of midfielder that we have missed for a few years. Would not have come cheap. Well done Ling to get a player that has played at a higher level for the last few years. Returning home ( his family live in Loughton)
'Well done Ling?' That's his job, what else is he supposed to do. Do you think Moncur came to this club because of Martin Ling ?
So what you are essentially saying is it is ok moan and ruin him when he does something bad, but not ok to praise him when he does something good. Do I understand that correctly?
To get him to drop 2 divisions could not be easy. I bet he was not cheap . I say again well done to Ling

In the interview he mentions having been in talks with Paul Terry for weeks but Wellens only recently. Perhaps Paul's agent connections and skills being used to good effect?

Well we need that to happen another two or three times

Agreed.
That’s two key players signed on new deals, Theo signed permanently and Moncur signed. Topped off with a great sale in Kyps so got to tip my hat to Ling and the rest and I don’t think we’re done yet!

Very good signing.
He only played 7 (+7) for Hull last season, but ended up with the highest Pass success percentage - 92 - at the club.
Surely that's easier to achieve if the sample size is smaller?
Same way David Nugent has 100% scoring record for England after stealing a goal on his only cap

Made me Google him and you’re absolutely right! Great quiz question that “shortest England career for a player who’s scored at least one goal in the national team?” Nugent, 11 minutes

Also, if you look at the goal he scored he nicked it of someone else

Looks to be a very good signing and just the type of player we’ve been crying out for .
Well done to everyone concerned at the club for making this happen.

Does look to be a very good signing but we already had Smyth filling this role - the position we’ve been crying out to fill for the past 4 years is the CDM role vacated by Adams.
