You really think Watford, a premier league club, with a current manager who won the premier league not long ago, would want a manager who by the above account, has failed to get a league two club promoted? And failed by December at that!

We are of course disappointed with the postponement of the Bristol Rovers game, even more so by the late nature of the postponement.

We have been in contact with Bristol Rovers throughout the week regarding their reduced player availability, although we understood the fixture would still proceed in accordance with the EFL rules.

The Club expect the EFL to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the postponement of today’s fixture.

Whilst there is of course so much that is taken out of our hands with the spread of the virus, there are things that can be done.

The postponements of fixtures are not helping sustainability of football, and more and more costs are incurred through the later postponements.

We need to do more as individual clubs, and collectively the EFL, to ensure rules around postponements change for the better.

In closing, we wish all our supporters a very happy new year and look forward to seeing many of you at Stoke City in the FA Cup on Sunday 9th.

Wind up merchant, KJ can get a team up into the Championship but not keep them there as you know full well, so why would Watford employ KJ to get them back up, silly arse

"Like many supporters, the squad met up this morning and began travelling on the coach to the game. However, some squad members woke up symptomatic this morning leaving us with ten outfield players and two goalkeepers available for selection."

So the chronology of this is the squad met up and started travelling and then some squad members woke up symptomatic this morning. That makes no sense at all. And since they knew they had asymptomatic players this morning they then wouldn't let them on the bus.
So the coach left with only 12 players on it 🤔 or did it have unwell players on it as well 🤔
