It's that time of the year again. I noticed BBC presenters this morning are all complying with code. I'm hoping for some big things this year people.

Owen Jones in clear breach of poppy code whilst appearing on TV this morning. This is an OUTRAGE!

The usual critics of virtue signalling and cancel culture will be busy virtue signalling and calling for his cancellation.

Well although I have never seen anyone actually wearing one I think they were brought in afterwards by the Womans Institute or similar to remember all victims of war and as a peace emblem. I do not understand why they had to use a poppy for this . Why not have a Red one with ‘peace’ written on it? Like the Children in Need Teddy bear suddenly being copied and used by another movement. Why not think of another emblem ti represent a cause? It is sad these days that many people weaponise not wearing a poppy as a statement when the Legion go out of their way to be inclusive with crescent moon and Star of David versions . I always wear one enthusiastically. Older people seem to wear them all over the place , some old boys I know have at least ten on , various versions. Have them on their lapels, caps, ties , car, front door. They really remember them.

I don’t know if the Leyton Orient Somme Group sell the white ones as I’ve only seen red ones.

Oiram?

For the record, I don’t think LCL is a certain boarder who I won’t name; if it was, he would not be liking any posts of mine under any circumstances, and would reserve his worst takes for the wee small hours

Yeah, LCL isn't an ianteresting alias. They're someone else, I just can't put my finger on it or work out what the angle is.
