We can’t afford Jackett and the others will want full control.
One thing we can’t afford is to appoint a Manager that cannot get us promoted next season.Still wrong wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:58 pmIt’s Calderwood.cockhat wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:43 pmThey will make a decision ‘sometime’!Still wrong wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:26 pm

And some pretty decent players to achieve that.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 7:58 pmOne thing we can’t afford is to appoint a Manager that cannot get us promoted next season.Still wrong wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:58 pmIt’s Calderwood.

No, it’s an educated guess.

Jackett and Tisdale have turned it down.
I can see it being announced after the playoffs.
To be honest I haven’t got a problem with Calderwood.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 8:04 pmYou could be right which could leave the dreaded CalderwoodStill wrong wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 7:35 pmLooking more and more like it.Still wrong wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:58 pm

Our closeness to everything here is negated by the massive traffic jams we can get.Timewise your son’s 150 mile round trip could be no different to a 70 mile trip in the UK. Fecking roadworks everywhereDohnut wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 2:39 pmI can relate to that. My son lives in Perth WA. We have exactly the same conversation when talking about distance. A local gig for him could be over a 150 mile round trip. Nothing to him. The longer ones are a two day drive each way, with a sleep over en-route. Sometimes a flight.Anthem of Hope wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 1:00 pmI live in Australia - to me it's "near" - particularly as it in that region of uk to be classified as "near" football wise
I’ve done a lot of driving in Australia. Massive continent. A whole different focus on distance. England would get lost if plonked into Oz.
Was in Melbourne once. Said to the wife, let’s pop to Sydney. Looks close on the map! I never made that mistake again!!!
