All the out of contract deadwood should be leaving shortly . It all depends on who we bring in . We need our new manager appointed ASAP to bring in his own players and not be all left to Martin Ling and a transfer committee .

Huge clearout required. Jobi seems to have failed to motivate the players or is it that you cant make a silk purse out of a sow's ear?
I feel sorry for Jobi. I think it's more the case that some of our players are simply not good enough for this level. .

I really wish my score Prediction had not been correct. Oh well, that's what one gets for supporting Orient for over 50 years. Enjoy the summer, fellow boarders and let's hope we are back in Brizzie Road come August and we can then vent our frustrations, not via the keyboard but verbally and LOUD.

And I must remember that my Sarfend supporting friends are even more upset than I am.

Nothing at stake but we were awful. Have to say - we need an experienced manager and some new signings. Poor all over the place.

We all know we would have been fighting relegation . Next season's league Two is going to be tougher so we can't rely on only one player to save us .

A lot of new signings

Basically whole new first XI and most of the bench. Over to you new manager, it's a clean slate... choose wisely

100% correct. You can only hope that the owners have finally woken up to the fact that a different set up and a different approach is needed and that they are prepared to pay for the right people to come in and implement it.🤞

I'm confident he could become a good manager but it obviously won't be with us .

Vig, Happe, Thompson, Turley, Widdowson, Sweeney, Ogie, Kyprianou, Brophy, Wilko, DJ, Sotiriou, Sargeant, Kemp I would happily keep around. The rest can go, whether that be not renewing their contract, releasing from their contract, loaning them out or flogging them.

That means we'd have 2 keepers, 0 right backs, 3 centre backs, 3 left backs, 1 central midfielder, 2 wingers and 3 forwards.

We need a spare big man up top, 2 right backs, another centre half, at least 3 central midfielders and probably a winger.

Big summer.

Mr. Peanutbutter wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 4:02 pm The performance and results haven't been good enough, because the team isn't good enough. Big rebuild needed over the summer, imo it's a shame Jobi will not be part of that, but I think his comments about the strength of the squad killed his chances really.
Just showed he didn't have any more skills than Embleton to get the best out of what he had. Going back to basically the same tactics that got the previous guy sacked doesn't inspire much confidence either.

If true that's 1/3 tasks on its way to completion

New manager - check
DoF demotion - tbc
New squad - tbc
Need to add review of quantity and quality of coaching staff to that list.

Jobi said "I dont think we looked like we came with a real intent to win, thats my biggest disappointment"

He more or less admiits that he cant motivate the players
