Reckon it could go to around $53k which is ca. £38k before bouncing back up. Anything over 60 take some profits off the table for the time being. Don't think it's long before we see it go to 100k though

Hardcore HODLer

Still got skin in the game, don’t worry. Only sold about 25%.
If you really need the cash, then fair enough. But I’d still be thinking of ways to borrow fiat against your BTC holdings and HODL those keys.

In 20 years time, you’ll be gutted you flogged off that 25%.
It will dip again at some point before soaring off and I’ll buy back then, I’ll be fine.

I like blockchain but the issue I have with Bitofacon is that the very earliest adopters/mkt entrants of something usually fail. Who remembers pets.com trading at 1000 x earnings or MySpace. For MySpace I raise you a Friends reunited, Yahoo. Nobody made money out of Amazon, Apple, Google etc for many years as they climbed slowly and their take over was a very gradual one. Everyone and his dog is involved in Bitofacon. Markets don’t work like that. I think the crypto currency industry will undergo many as yet unknown changes in the next 10-20 years and the chance of Bitofacon being last man standing is virtually zero.

If you read the BBC article I posted you will see that Blockchain is incredibly inefficient and has no future in finance. Most traders don't know enough about technology to understand

I've no problem people making a few quid of this if they can, but it's easy to forget in the excitement that all of this is COMPLETELY UNREGULATED, and if anyone at any stage of any transaction decides to make off with your coins/remove your access/charge you a king's ransom, then you are totally buggered and have no recourse at all.

Frankly you'd have to be mad to put in money you weren't prepared to completely lose forever.

BTC is now 12 years old. The process has been gradual.

I hope AW got back in.

Could see his coning after reading Morgan Stanley have said they’ll allow their very wealthy clients some exposure to crypto.

I haven't invested in any other crypto yet, just been whacking it all into BTC.

Are all other coins haemorrhaging as well? Might jump on board a few of those.

Funny how they're valued in real money.
