I’m sorry, but these players are better than what we are seeing. It’s the system draining the life out of them

This is Steve Davis type football. Slow, boring and unadventurous. No matters what players we get in, Embleton likes this style of play.. 442 is far too dangerous for him to revert to as tippy tappy slow safety football is all he knows.
Exactly this. 100%.

Meanwhile Crawley are being tonked 3-0 at home by Harrogate?!!
Both Wrights on the pitch at the start
Hardly suprising towie got pulled after 30 minutes .
Pity the same can't be said of the TV show.
I thought it had .
Oh F*ck that means it must still be on somewhere .

Then you lighten their defensive responsibilities by having your sitting midfielder drop into a back three when we have the ball.
You can persevere playing with an isolated striker feeding off of scraps but this is what you're going to get.

This is turgid, the players on the pitch are capable of far more

God it's dull.
Thompson looks good signing not convinced by Kemp or Freeman.
Abraham's hardly had a touch.

Ling off injured, knee or ankle. Was actually having a decent game may have been the pitch what done for him.
I predict Johnson to come on for the last 10-15 and score with his first shot.

Akinola is not renowned as an attacking fullback so I'd say that we're probably not.

In what way? Don’t think we will play better up front because Ling has gone off

Thompson is fuming constantly about no one collecting the ball or lack of options, he keeps passing it, then getting it back
Liking the look of him so far, seems to have a bit of bite and leadership about him
I like him a lot, good signing.

Aye credit where it's due he was doing OK today, a solid 6 in the ratings later on nothing spectacular but not a problem either.

Wilkinson again our only threat dribbling past 5-6 players and getting a stinging shot away. There is no other attacking plan aside from what he can do individually.

Introduction of McAnuff has made all the difference. Suddenly have movement in midfield, which is opening up room for others to run at their defence. Still a bit toothless but playing with momentum at least.

Systems, shapes don’t drain players. Managers do though.
