Probably if it's just between us and other 2nd division clubs then we have a good chance, maybe even favourites for it to happen.
If a club in division one approach him then our chances are really slim because for starters they will probably offer him around £500 to £1.000 per week more and no it wont be Martin Lings fault.

No ones fault as in most cases the "Pound Note" talks. I'm sure if someone offered you a Monkey or a Grand a week in wages more, you would sign for them.
Also Cisse is allowed to turn us down you know.

No ones fault. People have a right to follow the career path that best suited them and their family. No different for footballers.
If he gets a better offer then my advice would be take it. He owes us nothing.

Yep. One of the few who were genuinely good enough to play for us in their late 30s
