Andrea Leadsom has resigned her role from the cabinet. Moves are being made now, the end is nigh.

Seems they backed down, given the kicking they will take tomorrow let May take the flack, kick her out, get a new person in who can fix all this like Bob the builder.

The results from tomorrow will not be counted until Sunday, why not wait until Monday?

Looks like May is going today. Or, at least, saying when she is going to strp down today, which isn’t the same thing.

Look how he took on and beat the EU earlier in this process. 😁
My three hero's Trump, Boris, Farage, If only all three could be in power at same time, so much fun, none of them got any truck with the snowflake lefties or PC Brigade. So what if they open there gob before thinking, take it all with a pinch of salt, Boris and Farage EU bashing together great fun. Bring it on

She's given 2 weeks notice. At least she gets to meet up with Donald again.

Nope. It doesn't change the commons' arithmetic. Tory HQ has never wanted Boris as leader, but it's difficult to see how the MPs can not end up with him in the final 2. And if the wider party membership gets to vote then he wins hands down.

But he'll not unite Tory MPs nor be able to build cross-party allies. So I wouldn't be surprised if he calls a general election. But then I'd still favour a GE returning yet another hung parliament.

Best to set any brexit expectations that, if it ever does happen, it won't be for a few more years yet.

May definitely now going, probably

I wonder what Boris will do once he's PM. Everything he has ever said or done was to get him there, so will he want his legacy to be that of the man who scuttled the country?

I read an article this morning saying that he can take us out of the EU with no deal and there's nothing parliament can do to stop him. Apparently they are indicative votes and not legislation.

If that happened the silent majority in the country would speak.

Thank you, I will. He's a lying two-faced opportunistic piece of rotting ordure. I wouldn't p*ss on him if he was on fire - well not unless my p*ss had turned into lighter fluid. If this disgusting excuse for a human being ever gets into power then it may be time to emigrate. I know people can be stupid but how can anyone be fooled by this trickster.
