It's also possibly worth noting that here in the UK we're more exposed to Trumps activities (and especially his public ejaculations) that we are to the activities of Putin and Xi Jinping.

For a kick off - his are in English (sort of) so there's no barrier to anyone making a judgment on what his saying / doing.

There's also the small matter that he's going to be setting our trade policy come next year, when we go cap in hand to the US after burning all our more local bridges, so it might be that some folk are concerned at his ultranationalist posturing - seeing as how that will affect our economy.

Some of us are old enough to have discussed at length what happened in the interwar years with those who lived through it. Every time we hear Trump speak there are faint echos of those days that ring alarms. Out of those days came right wing tyrannies and a world war.
