I think you are right. Assuming we are OKish end December, the next stage will be “give him to the end of the season”.

So unless Ross takes us into serious relegation trouble he will in effect, given his earlier stint, have a full season to get into it. To learn the job. The next stage will then become “give him a chance to start a new season afresh. Clean sheet stuff.

Evolution not revolution stuff.

So unless he screws up big time or reaffirms his desire to be a number 2, Ross is our head coach for the foreseeable future.
As I posted earlier, I have no problem with Ross being HE until the end of the season, but the squad needs strengthening in January and that’s what I’m more concerned about. The current midfield just isn’t good enough, Brill needs replacing as does Coulson if Saturday is anything to go by.
Will T and T loosen the purse strings, that remains to be seen.

Ling Snr protecting his own position yet again. When will he put the club first and admit that he doesn’t want to be proved wrong .His record on appointing a proven, successfull Manager is rubbish with only 1 being proven and successful .
Way past his time to move on and give our club the chance to succeed that the fans so richly deserve.
He certainly does seem to be out of step with what a lot of supporters are thinking on this issue.
Where is the proof to back up your assumption ?
Not sure what you mean tbh! I don’t need “ proof” to have an assumption! All I’m saying is that Martin Ling’s views on the best option for the clubs future head coach are at odds with what a lot of Orient fans seem to think is the best option. If you need any evidence then look at numerous posts ( including your own!) on this and other threads! Sorry if I didn’t put that in terms that were simple enough for you to understand previously!

ML said in the podcast we are good enough, he also said Sat was the first time our centre midfield had been overun.

Make of that what you will.
