Please explain how, apart from a bung, this is helping smaller clubs?

Re: EFL Trophy tomorrow- boycott?
I didnt say it helped smaller clubs
I said it helped the efl & the fa which will
be to the benefit of all 92 clubs .
The 2 have been so far apart , that they cant keep
the record final scorers in 1 of thems competition
Or alive in the others .
We need 1 pyramid not 2.
Protesting against a comp run by both , hopefully means they emalgamate at some future point & we end up with fewer clubs like Bury Bolton coventry blackpool leyton orient etc dying or nearly dying.
f*** the actual competition
Concentrate on more Ways they can work together, must be better than 2 seperate ships sailing different routes .

I mean okay but I don't think your argument really joins up.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:33 pmI didnt say it helped smaller clubs

Where as i dont see a protest having any weight.Red_Army wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:21 pmI mean okay but I don't think your argument really joins up.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:33 pmI didnt say it helped smaller clubs

Im not arguing for the sake of it honestly.
I value a reasoned discussion like you have given
I see the points you make & to a degree i can understand why people would see that
But long term & bigger picture , something drastic needs to change in football
2 in charge is not working .
Anyway
Up the O's & on to saturday & Swindon

Don't get me wrong I believe something drastic needs to change too, but that doesn't include introducing B-teams into professional football competitions.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:33 pmWhere as i dont see a protest having any weight.Red_Army wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:21 pmI mean okay but I don't think your argument really joins up.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:33 pm

There under 21/23
Just like there not officially allowing youth teams
in the F.A Cup as you pointed out .
Football governing bodies are a Farce that is letting
itself down from the top.

Who managed to get the 5 right?
How do we know about your previous predictions as this purports to be your first post?
Please elucidate.

Wasn't a dig at anybody, least of all YOU, silly child, just said we decided to go eventually, rest of message was about the match with no mention of people who chose not to go. If I want to have a pop at you in the future I'll let you know so you can polish up on your feigned annoyances. No body has the right not to be annoyed.Red_Army wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:35 pmUnnecessary dig at those who chose not to attend.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:28 pm I'm glad I went, decided not to let the boycott lobby win, Surprised at our performance. Took Ogie 10-15 minutes to get up to scratch, from then on no problem, felt sorry for Harold his strike partner Alibi was no where near him when required (Hercules his horse would have done better,) Alibi couldn't score in a brothel, missed three goals including one on one with keeper empty goal hit post. Marsh ok did nothing wrong. Southend were worse than crap, however we were the better team, Happe and Gorman scored, Southend even managed to get a player sent off. In this competition, good grief.
We're determined not to let the powerful Premier League clubs win.
If you went, fine that's your call, but that's doesn't give you the right to have a pop at us for our decision.

Well as long as you're pleased that it didn't win, that's good for you.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 9:25 amExactly what it says on the tin. end of conversation.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 9:20 am"decided not to let the boycott lobby win".
