They all looked shot by 80 mins. Our fitness was something that stood out last season so not sure what's happened there. Don't think playing such poor opposition pre-season helped.

Perhaps things are different for Ross. His job security and authority are much less than Justin's so couldn't afford an unhappy guy in the background kicking up a stink.
Don't think that is Alabi really, comes across as such a nice guy to the extent that if you asked him to shut up in the cinema he'd probably apologise. I'd love to see him be nastier on the pitch, get in people's faces and intimidate. Sadly I think his lack of results here probably renders that ineffective now, a good defender would be quite confident of getting the better of him if he keeps his head.
I would imagine despite not being on the list he is still very much up for sale.
Fair point.

Especially when we had so much of th ball, they should have been the ones on their arses. Not sure what’s going on there. Have we changed the fitness team?
Tosh. Absolute tosh.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 3:26 pm There are one or two things that don’t look right. Fitness is one, but the players seemed to be having a real go at each other during the match. oK it happens but some of it looked nasty. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but they don’t seem quite together as they were. Perhaps the pressure is getting to them
Were you watching the same match as the rest of us?dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 3:26 pm There are one or two things that don’t look right. Different seats in different stands
offer different views of a game
Different eyes sitting in those seats always means a different game is watched.
I thought you claimed to be some sort of Footballing aficionado .
I was. I was watching and taking note. Brophy at one point looked like he was going apeshit. And there was general friction on more than one occasion. Perhaps just the occasion and no more. I’m quite observant and haven’t really noticed the aggro at this level before.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:23 pmWere you watching the same match as the rest of us?dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 3:26 pm There are one or two things that don’t look right. Same temperature for both teams and frankly Crawley looked OK. We had a few puffing and blowing like old geezers, Clay for example.

You in your argumentative zone again I see.
Don’t remember that but he did take one midway through the first half. Not that it should have affected his fitness level. (Not that I noticed any problem, he was covering as much ground as he usually does).
Not the first time though. Been said before.
If he took a knock even more baffling we put Gorman on. Not the first game he's looked off the pace though, does seem to be the step up in pace and quality having an impact.
If Clay had took a knock early 2nd half and was struggling as a result take him off and replace like-for-like before the goals go in. All ifs and maybes in the grand scheme of things but Clay definitely didn't look right compared to his usual swashbuckling self.
At 2-1 up , that's when Marsh should have come on for Clay.gshaw wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 7:27 pmIf Clay had took a knock early 2nd half and was struggling as a result take him off and replace like-for-like before the goals go in. Playing through the pain is honourable but if there's options on the bench use them to keep everyone fit and firing.
That's true . I noticed Brophy going ballistic as well.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:56 pmI was. I was watching and taking note. Brophy at one point looked like he was going apeshit. As for fitness. They looked shagged out at the end and Crawley finished the stronger.
