He's pure class, definitely a midfielder in the long term but suits the Wellens system of having full backs flood the midfield.

Apart from Piggott, our summer transfers have been more or less great pieces of business (granted Sanders and Adyei have only shown it in glimpses due to injuries).

Huge credit to Ruel as well. Has his doubters and I can be one of them at times, but two superb goals tonight.

Best (or most exciting) match since a 3-2 night game in the conference season in April. Late winner then too.
This match topped that.

That was never a corner btw. But the ref really f*cked up a couple of decisions that should have gone our way in similar situations in the build up so an example of how bad officiating generally balances out.

I can see Galbraith playing in Championship for a team who have won back to back promotions 🤔

Galbraith was outstanding tonight, very unlucky not to get MOTM

Yeah, good shout for Galbraith for MOTM. For all the great offensive play, his highlight was that block tackle on the penalty spot in the second half to prevent a clear goal scoring chance. Great game.

He was ‘spotted’ in the Mickey Mouse game against us, wasn’t he? Not sure how ling gets the credit for that.

Just back. What a game, but I'd prefer not to sit through that again too soon. We made such hard work of it in the end.

I can't see Omar playing on Saturday, he was struggling all game and was on his haunches in the last minute or so.

Sickener for Theo. Hope he gets a new deal despite that, has worked his arse off throughout the good periods and bad, and whilst I think he long term is a back up player, is a really good player to have.

Happe out for at least a month as well. Rubbish luck with injuries this year, makes our position all the more impressive.

New youngsters did well.
Adu Adeji looked lively and put himself about, and did really well when he come on for Edwards who also put himself about chasing down Northampton defenders.
Oh do me a favour.

Edwards was thrown in the deep end and sunk like a stone.

Dan Adjei the Second looked lively but not sure where his natural position is?

Is Theo out of contract?

Believe so. Signed for two years in 2022, don't know if we've extended at any point. Can't imagine they'd release him even if the injury is bad as feared.

Richie looks after players that do right by him, he’ll be ok.

Ruel on not fully fit, surprised he was back so early but still manages to score two good goals in the limited time he was on.

Great finishes by Ruel. Hard to believe the criticism he gets from some on this forum.
