Lack of senior pro striker signing and having to use Pigott...

This is the Cheltenham game in reverse, they say football levels things up eventually so as disappointing as it is not entirely surprised it's happened.

From delight to disaster. We’ve defended so well for 85 mins and then like schoolboys for ten mins.
This game is proof of the experience we lack. It’s not necessarily the defending, more the lack of ability and experience to keep hold of the ball. We’ve just kept giving it back all 2nd half

Just when you think it’s all so easy. To be fair, we have looked completely knackered in the second half.

Came about 20 yards to punch a cross and missed it by 5 yards.

Could argue he had to try because their player was unmarked

We can`t complain. We struggled in the 2nd half.

I am sure will handle a game like this better next season.

COME ON ORIENT!!

Those loanees must be paraplegic if they can’t get on in place of Pigott.

We were never going to go the rest of the season unbeaten . In my opinion Barnsley are the best team in League One. Looking on the bright side we only need another 7 points for certain League One safety. 14 points in front of 4th bottom Port Vale

So disappointing

But maybe that’s why Barnsley are where they are.

Now the coaches have got to raise the team for Tuesday night against Northampton who won’t be a walkover.

Obviously a massive shame considering we were ahead for so long and looking relatively comfortable. But it’s not the end of the world. For one it shows the levels and where we lack. The squad is shattered and it showed second half. Our depth just isn’t there yet

That's so disappointing. Played well but when it counted we couldn't defend. Such a shame, as it's not been a good Saturday for a number of teams above us.

First defeat in 9 games, we’re safe and we’re never gonna make the playoffs anyway

Annoying but not that bothered

Well played Orient shows you can mix it with the bigger teams all this is boding well for the future. Anything more this season will be a big bonus

May as well give the two loan lads some game time upfront now

Agree, Piggot is a waste of space, some on here think, he’s a good option from bench, to come on and hold the ball up, but he can’t do that, he’s like a training cone.
But be careful Beardogs, if you have an opinion, Solomon will call you a halfwit!

Feel sorry for Richie, he told them we needed two more, pigot and Pratley just not up to it, I haven’t seen to much in this O’Neill to tell me he’s going to set the world alight, still time will tell.

Can’t do any worst than pigot.
