Re: Clapham attack
Looks like he topped himself by jumping in the Thames
I know it’s a minor issue but is there a reason, legal or otherwise, why the BBC insist on the using the term “entered the water”.

Re: Clapham attack
Isn't that a fair term to use? They haven't found a body so all they know - or think they know - is that he entered the water. They can't say "drowned" as it hasn't been confirmed with no body.

Re: Clapham attack
What should they say? They don’t know whether he jumped, slipped, dived, bombed etc.

Re: Clapham attack
Great point, I’ll wait until the coroners inquest before I determine which verb would be pertinent to this case

Re: Clapham attack
The person went from a state of not being in the water, to a state of being in the water. It is unknown how that came to pass.

Re: Clapham attack
You end up in the Thames or you invent an alias that is posting from (checks notes) Panama?

Re: Clapham attack
No as I can vouch for my whereabouts.
Columbo once said a murderer returns to the scene of a crime.
Good enough for me.

Re: Clapham attack
Are you sure? When did these two men die? Seems a bit suspicious that you're claiming to have an alibi for one or two unknown dates that aren't in the public realm. Think Admin should flag this thread with the relevant authorities.

Tuffers can’t string more than two words together and speaks in single syllables. Surprised that I am being lumped in with a boarder whose modus operandi is easy to spot.

My connections with Plod should ensure any flagging is given the respect it deserves. Isn’t that how the justice system works?Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 11:17 amAre you sure? Who were you then?

Abdul Ezedi, a proud Geordie, amateur chemist and Christian, has died from drowning.

Hopefully we can work out how he “entered the water” now
