Both times when Ross instructed going to the corner were potential goal scoring chances against a tired 9 men whose only chance of scoring was from a set piece or long throw. Not for me.

I would have preferred a more positive approach too. But Ross made the call and we got 3 points so who can say he was wrong. This taking the ball to the corner flag stuff ain’t my thing either but the pressure on Ross was immense and we won.

1-0 against 9 men and ended up wasting time in the corners. Pathetic.

Justin placed him on the transfer list for a reason.....i note nobody came in and took him

Ruel should have been given those last minutes, not Alabi
Ok let’s do some quick maths here
Alabi’s 2 goals in NL got us 4 points
Take them away and it’s a play off place not the title
Why should Sotiriou get the last minutes over Alabi or Harrold?
Because if Sotiriou was given the game time last season instead of Alabi, he might have scored more than 2 and got us more than 4 points. Just a thought.

It was obviously the correct decision to go to the corner, it was just poorly executed.

With 4 minutes of injury time still to play?
Wow

I’ll take the 2 goals and 4 points over what we might have got But of course we will never know if any change of players would have done better or worse. I’m just delighted what we did do was enough. Alabi will be gone by the end of the season.

I was fine with that tactic - it was a very big emotional day for everyone and I think important we won for lots of reasons.

I was well chuffed

How can anyone question the tactics? We won!

We won despite that tactic not because of it

How do you know? Say we go for it, as you wanted. Throw a few extra players forward. We lose the ball and they break, and score...you dont know. The only thing anyone can be certain of is that we won and we kept the ball in the corner for the last 5 minutes i.e. the process was 100% successful. Anything else is hyperbole.

Apple Wimbledon, were u there?. Kept the ball in the corner for 5 minutes. We didn’t keep it there for 15 seconds and conceded possession by way of goal kicks on both attempts.

Yeah I made that comment earlier mate. The execution was poor but the process was correct.

Any ways, we won. It’s over. It’s not that important, let's agree to disagree, Red.
