The ladies at Age Concern crochet some really nice ones that are far better and longer lasting ‘greener’ than the paper and plastic ones. A donation to their charity secured one. Highly recommend these. I have been complimented on mine so many times this year. I wear mine with pride in remembrance of all those affected by the two World Wars and those who have suffered in other conflicts since. I will humbly attend my local War Memorial Service on Sunday.

Isn't part of being humble not feeling the need to tell people you're doing it?

I don't wear a poppy because I basically love terrorists.

What is the difference between" humbly attending' and just plain " attending " ?

I entered Age Concern meekly and considered myself of low importance.

That's good to know. Do you usually enter Age concern aggressively then?

No way, they always provide a good service there and a two course lunch for a fiver is on offer but far too early for me. I support them best I can and buy some of their craftworks. One lady is knitting me a scarf in Leyton Orient colours.

I'm seeing a show in the West End today followed by a meal. So long as all of these f*ckwits don't ruin my day, they're welcome to kick several shades of sh*t out of each other.

And when I say several, I mean 4 or 5.

Nah. We have visitors from abroad and they want to have an enjoyable day out.

Was wonderful to see the march for a ceasefire went peacefully, and all the trouble came from the far right knuckle draggers, ( as we knew it would ).
None of this will make any difference mind, to the apartheid state, who will just carry on killing thousands of civilians, whilst saying their not targeting civilians

The anti-semitism and open support for Hamas on display today at the peace march was disgraceful. But the march went off peacefully. Mostly.

Tatchell aligning himself with Oz Katerji? Ukraine and Palestine have really created some wild link-ups.

Think they excluded him, he was a Protest abuser, he should have added ‘Just Stop Oil’ ‘Save the Whale ‘ and ‘No HS2’ to get his money’s worth for his materials he bought from Hobbycraft.
