The same Roy Keane that took a team at the bottom of the championship to the Premier League?
He took over at Sunderland when the team had only played FOUR games, they were 2nd from bottom at the time, that was his only major success as a manager.
Quote Wikipedia ''Keane's harsh management style was not appreciated by the Sunderland players, who were reported to have celebrated when they heard he had resigned''
No doubt the same players who celebrated when they got promoted to the Prem and celebrated pay increases linked to promotion and celebrated bigger bonus payments.
Whatever the debate of how good Roy Keane is as a Manager, with his confrontational and abrasive attitude towards football management, certainly not the type of manager needed at the moment for Leyton Orient.

Ex Sunderland manager, that will please the Geordies. He must be mad working for Ashley, he has already sold one of their best players.

He is a desperate egotist - he knows this is his last shot at the big time. He is prepared to get into bed with the devil to achieve it.

Bruce has got all the loyalty of a headlouse.
How many clubs is it now that he's done the dirty on?

There’s no loyalty in Football.
The only Constant in All clubs are the fans.
Owners, Managers, players all move on at some point, but I agree, Bruce is one of the worst.

by point nine one eight
I can understand him taking the job, as said before his last shot at the big time, however he's past his sell by date now, unlikely to succeed IMO

Newcastle have had to pay an alleged £7million release fee according to Simon Jordan on the radio this morning. Can't believe it's as much as that, but still a nice chunk of change for Wednesday.
Bruce gets a Premier League job managing his hometown team and knows he is looking at a nice payoff when Newcastle are eventually sold and the new owners bring in a bigger name. No lose situation for him.

Why is he disloyal for wanting to move to a club in a higher division?
