Good goalkeepers are ten a penny. I understand Jamie Jones may be available.

Agree with that. Seen a couple of awful blunders from him since thenRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 11:34 amI wouldn't have him back simply because I didn't think he was that good even before that Wembley game .Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 11:14 amI understand your concerns Ronnie but isn't everyone entitled to a second chance?

Next week they may be haggling over money so don't think we will hear one way or the other until the week after.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 10:38 amI don't think so.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:59 amWhile that's true I don't think it will come to that . I think the club will know for sure tomorrow one way or another .Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:52 am They can sign after Saturday though we could withdraw the contract at at that time if we wanted
The good news is none of them have been confirmed as signing for anyone else yet. I'd hope that Ling has learnt from his balls up with Ebou, and if the players haven't signed by Saturday, we leave the offers on the table for now but start ramping up the discussions with others we have hopefully been having...

Just spoke to a Charlton mate who was surprised, said we have two perfectly good keepers already.

Ok. But you're wrong. It's Moncur, the main God botherer at the club.WickfordO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:46 pmAll the videos I've seen it is always him leading the singing of it.

Please list the hints dropped !ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:48 am Vigs has wanted to leave Leyton Orient for a while. Last time his contract was up, he didnt sign until the last min, presumably because he was looking for another club.
He was dropping hints at the end of last season, that he was going, so we will be getting a new keeper in the building.
Im sure the club have half expected it anyway, and have been looking at potential keepers for a few months

And definitely not ready for L1 first team action regardless of ability, that's another Grainger / Sargeant in NL scenario all over again. Would have no doubt we'll be signing a replacement #1

Re: Saturday is DDay for out of contract players
Whatever happened to the “ Spirit of Togetherness “ in the squad that Richie and some players spoke about just 5 or 6 weeks ago ??
Unfortunately there isn’t much loyalty in Football any more, players, managers, owners all move on at some point………..the only people dedicated and permanent to the club are the fans . Sad really but it looks as though Vigs’ , and possibly a few others will be moving on for no doubt more money, and maybe we shouldn’t blame them too much as it’s a short career however frustrating it is for we loyal fans.

I would much rather keep Vigs but yes , if he leaves we'll need a new first choice keeper . I think Byrne has good potential but he's not ready yet .

With all three players saying how settled they are and how happy they are at the club and with each other, sometimes it’s better the devil you know.
I think all will sign for Orient and we can move on with other targets.

Hopefully Frogger . We had a good squad last season and with some additions this season we should be OK.

They’ll be much bedwetting through the next Next TWO months if we don’t make lots of ‘signings ‘
