Same here . Like Gorman he has something to prove this season . It's going to be a big season for both of them. Saying that I still hope we bring in another two or three new players.

First goal since last September against an Isthmian League South Central Division. Not holding my breath that he is gonna hit 20 goals this season.

Anyone there able to confirm the line ups? From personnel sounds as if 5-3-2 first half but then 4-3-3 second half?

As I’ve said here before, I can see potential when Ling is overlapping down the wing but why oh why oh why does he suddenly stop, check and try to pass to a colleague BEHIND him? He had a marvellous opportunity in the second to carry on to the penalty box and create some havoc. Please convince him to have the confidence to attack. Attack = goals.

There is no potential with Ling. He's a liability and shouldn't be anywhere near the squad.

Horient: yes, the third / winner against Eastleigh is exactly my point. A positive attack, a nimble 1-2 in the box and the telling cross. Several thousand fans going ape!
I agree I struggle with him as a traditional full back but push him more forward, give him some latitude and confidence and who knows!

Some years back everybody was against Shane Tudor ... then they had to watch the season highlight DVD and count the number of his crosses that led directly to goals.

Widdowson did that with unerring regularity until the last ten games or so. My guess is that he had been working hard and practising.being coached at beating the fullback. It clearly worked, Ling and Judd please take note.

I saw the Who too instead of Orient. Wrong choice, very wrong choice. Poor, Daltry can’t sing anymore and too much reliance on the orchestra and weak songs. Like amateur night sometimes. I’ll remember them as they were not as they are.

What a waste of a few hundred quid. Feel cheated

Highlights are up.

Angol looks like he’s going to be fun to watch. Infuriating at times too.

Unfortunately, I agree. I really worry that he is going to be ultra-exposed a division up and will cost us. Think he'll be out of the team by October.

The problem is, he was ultra-exposed in the NL.
