I was talking to my next door neighbour, he’s a funny sort, likes rescuing people. Anyway, got talking to him yesterday and on top of his taxes that he owes, he pays the government an extra £2,600 a month, and specifically says “please allocate this money to recovering/relapsing (delete as appropriate) alcoholics with three kids, that’s £2k for whatever benefits she can get, you know, those benefits that exist for homeowners that total 2k, and £600 just to go into the main pot”

Just watched a Garys Economics video and he says Labour will fail because although they're being 'sensible' with the economy they aren't tackling inequality and are making the same mistakes the democrats did. Unless they can halt the slide in living standards they'll lose the next election.
