Thereby was the issue. We got one of two very poor options.

The shambles continues at such a pace I’m bored with it.

This just feels like such an obvious own goal you almost think it might be deliberate. I don't know why they'd do it on purpose but to do it accidentally after everything that's gone before, and the criticism they - justifiably - aimed at every Govt from the moment May refused to meet the bereaved in the days after, is basically implausible.

There's no right answer to what to do with the Tower, some want it down, some want it kept up. You'll never win. But as per Dunnem, to just go and suddenly dictate what you're doing rather than even pretend there's been any consultation is just...no, they can't actually have done that without making a conscious decision to do so.

So we're giving them an island AND paying them for it? In a time of financial austerity?

Mauritius is a well known tax haven used in many offshore "schemes". Somebody has to pay for the infrastructure to support it. May as well be us UK taxpayers.

Labour strategy to focus on the longer term projects is, I admit, a smart move. Jam tomorrow due to tough decisions taken now. A change in narrative. So let’s suffer a good few years of “stagflation”. Low growth, increasing inflation, job losses because things will eventually get better. Even the Bank of England chipping in.

What a shambles. Like a comedy film Carry on regardless, except it’s not funny.

I’ve no great respect for much of the hypocrisy spewed out by politicians of all persuasions, but this lot are proving to be masters of it. Still, at least they are good at something,

Andrew Gwynne, the MP for Gorton and Denton, has been sacked as health minister and suspended from the Labour Party.

He reportedly posted sexist comments about Angela Rayner, racist remarks about Labour MP Diane Abbott and joked about an elderly woman dying in a closed group chat with Labour figures based around Manchester.

Let me get this straight: you invite us to use Gwynne's recent comments as condemnation of Corbyn even though Gwynne's comments were seemingly made when he was amongst Starmer's chosen for ministerial positions?

Clearly Starmer didn’t remove the anti-Semitic element from Labour. Instead he made one a Minister! Great judgement.

That's quite a catch for pammy. Usually the E10EU Bot's algorithm doesn't include user engagement.
