Labour MP who threatened to smash reporter’s face with bat made trade envoy by Starmer
A Labour MP who threatened to smash a reporter’s face with a ‘f****** bat’ has been made a trade envoy by Keir Starmer. Kate Osamor was ordered to apologise for the incident and for using House of Commons headed notepaper for a character reference in her son’s drug case in 2020. Last year she was also suspended by her party after she said Israeli action in Gaza should be remembered as a genocide, in a post about Holocaust Memorial Day.
She also gave her son a taxpayer funded job after he got sacked from another taxpayer funded job because he was selling class A drugs in his spare time

How is Starmers promise to make the UK top of the AI industry look now after the cheap Chinese entry. Another baseless promise. We were at least 10 years behind before his statement

He doesn't like APD ? Colour me shocked.
Lots more air passengers might increase "growth" for Ryanair, obviously, but is that the best way to get "growth" in the economy ?? (and anyway, presumably, all they'll do is keep ticket price the same and just increase profit).

So we are to accept that as Ryanair tickets have gone up by £2 there will be no growth in the UK economy. Ok Mikeybhoy, you know best.
Calling Reeves Rachel Rubbish is a bit Trumpian and disrespectful coming from a grown man.

He is correct though and that’s why he runs a successful business and she couldn’t. We have already wasted billions on HS2 which will deliver nothing. The third runway will never go ahead.

HS2 the latest disaster dressed up as incompetence. Destroyed ancient woodland to make way for that and then just left the job. The uni party marches on

I've not bothered keeping abreast of what this whole Chagos Islands thing is about, but interviews like this do tend to indicate that a shambles is occurring.

FFS. Even if it's just to pay lip service to them, at least do that so that you can say you have consulted. They're even being sh*t and being sh*t.

So we're giving them an island AND paying them for it? In a time of financial austerity?

£9 billion is the "old" figure. Reports that Starmer's lawyer chum Richard Hermer (Attorney General) got involved and the cost is now £18 billion after Mauritius asked for more money. The Government denies this, or at least refuses to confirm it.

To make matters worse this Leonie lassie was once married to Robin Askwith the "Confessions of a Window Cleaner" and similar actor. The plot thickens.

After the news today that labour will be running reform type adds to get rid of immigrants. Were a labour government actually elected?… Let’s build a new runway at Heathrow, lets drill for more oil, lets take away the Winter Fuel Allowance from pensioners, lets leave the tax thresholds where they are for the low paid to pay more tax, lets plan to cut disability benefits and get the disabled out to work, lets increase taxes by as much as possible, lets help ourselves to some freebies and yes, lets deport as many immigrants as we can to show we care about the Reform lead in the polls.Anyone with buyers remorse?
