Pity is the word you are searching for.

Is this Dave sending smoke signals that, should the Tories roll the dice with another leadership contest before the election, he may be just a tad interested?

They have to roll the dice. The Tories will lose. It’s only a matter of by how much. Sunak will be a worse media performer than May.

Dave does have a terrible record of screwing up the country when he was boss but that was so long ago nobody except me and a few lefties remember it.

If I was the Tory's election strategist I think I'd tell them they've only got one last rabbit to pull out the hat if they're to stand a chance of winning.

Declare war on France.

I think they will have gained a lot of new voters with the latest revelations regarding William Wragg. That only 3 Tory MP's were apparently moved to send nudey pics of themselves to strangers, suggests that the party is getting it's house in order. Not only that, Wragg himself has "courageously" apologised. Bravo!

Wragg has indeed been stunning and brave.

In which parallel Universe? Although if it was a fight to the death it would have some merit.

Politics is a tough business and it takes real courage to admit when you’re wrong, especially as an MP.

Given the never ending examples of MPs acting terribly it’s incredibly refreshing and brave for Wragg to apologise the way he did

Exactly. Anyone can make a mistake. Getting the guts to own up and apologise is the real test. Lots of haters piling in with criticism right now. Easy to pick at the faults of others when there's no scrutiny on yourself, I suppose.

True. I can't count the number of times I've sent indecent pics of myself to strangers but haven't had the courage to apologise

Sending off nobpiks to randoms is an easy mistake to make. I mean which one of us hasnt done it.

Modern technological gadgets have become so complicated to operate these days. It puts the user in an awkward position when innocent errors happen.

Common sense dicktates that if an apology is offered it should be accepted and the matter put to bed and never mentioned again.

MP for Fylde been suspended from Tory whip for using £,000's of Party donations for himself. Also said he was locked in a flat by "bad" people & needed the money to get out. Been in trouble before for using rent boys. But guess what? The Daily Mail's headline is all about that that serial gangster & working class Moll Angela Rayner!!!! They are complete & utter contemptable scum who should be driven from power.

:D This is actually hilarious when you read some of the details of what he's done. It's also the worst Tory sex scandal to come to light since... er.. last week.

Just another day in the life of a Tory MP. Hardly newsworthy in my opinion

I kind of admire him for using other people's money. Perhaps he's actually a secret socialist after all.

Downing Street said Mr Menzies had been suspended from his unpaid role as a trade envoy to Colombia, following the allegations.

I believe he was suspended from his previous unpaid role of trade envoy to Brazil after that Brazilian male escort alleged he paid him for bum sex and tried to buy drugs.
