Have you actually looked into this or will you just post any old sh*t to excuse the nasty people you support?

Something truly pathetic about grown men coming out to bat for a bloke who has made it clear he thinks 99% of humanity are sh*t thick scum.

Yes I looked into it. The soundtrack of what he was saying gives it some context. You can make up your own mind as to whether he was giving a Nazi salute or whether it was something else, and whether Musk would have been stupid enough to have given a Nazi salute in the first place (though given he's far right he may well be that stupid).
Loving the faux outrage of the "everything I don't like is fascist" brigade and the predicted meltdown over Trump now that reality has set in.

They’re just crying because of all the winning we’ve been doing recently and are getting jittery at Reform’s gain in the polls

"Everything I don't like is fascist" is an odd way to describe people pointing out a literal fascist salute.

So where's the video of Clinton and Harris etc giving fascist salutes?
Musk certainly is quite stupid, don't let the riches fool you.

Evening Terry
Happy to be corrected but I don’t remember Donald giving blanket pre-emptive pardons to all his siblings and his son when he was in charge before?
Let's see if he pardons the violent January 6th criminals
lol ‘violent’ have a laugh. Think there was one shot fired that day, on an unarmed lady (one of the protestors). One of many guided into the place by police and security. People deny truth in aid of their political commitment. What is left after that?
You are deluded if you think that was the case. Plenty of evidence of violence and vandalism in the building.

It was just a trick of the camera. As was his support for ADF, Stephen Yaxley Lennon and any other far right persons or body.

My two-penny's worth, is that Musk was trying to be too clever by half. It pretty much exactly mirrored a roman salute, twice, and the "my heart goes out to you" was a contrived masking which could later be used as an explanation.
Why? I can only guess that it was to play to a certain section of the choir, whilst also gauging the wider reaction. And on that latter point, I think the lesson he can take away is that there hasn't been much of a reaction at all.

Quite. Has been instructive to see just how many people are A-OK with a guy addressing a big ol' rally and doing a couple of Seig Heils. Lots of people you knew were far right all along but had until now tried to keep at least a thin mask on it, but plenty of others (including 'progressives' or Centrists) who it turns out are more than prepared to run cover for him.

Why do The Guardian et al love calling Tommy Robinson, Stephen Yaxley Lennon but wouldn’t think twice about calling Elton John, Reginald Dwight or Reese Witherspoon, Laura Jeanne Witherspoon or Adolf Hitler, Mikey Hitler plus another thousand examples. It’s bordering on a fetish.
