Agencies that want to slightly rip off tourists are not the worst type of ticket touting but they are unnecessary.

But the point remains that this discussion is not about selling tickets to Les Mis to tourists. It’s about the fact that thousands of tickets for the biggest artists in the world are snapped up in seconds by scumbags who want to make a profit, and the fact that ticket companies see this and think “we could be the scumbags and make even more money”
Of course there is a need and has been over many years, not just in the U.K. it deals with millions, not thousands of tickets up and down the country and across the world for events from very big to very small. As for rip-off! I suggest you use sites, there are amazing bargains to be had, many tickets half price. Not all bad news. I’ve used this a lot over the years.

The issue remains those who manage to get hold of tickets for the fewer premium big events. Two issues being first how they get them and secondly why people pay the money. Starve the supply, sounds easy, but it’s not. Plenty of individuals get tickets at face value only to sell to dealers for a fast buck. This will happen whilst there are people willing to buy. The second issue is clever software pretending to be an online buyer. There is definitely a need to crack down on this.

Allegedly, former Labour MP and Veterans’ Minister, Ivor Caplin, has been arrested for sending indecent images and trying to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex.

Allegedly, here he is last week on GB News trying to deflect criticism of the rapey gangs.

I agree. They are simply parasites who don't actually create anything. It is just another layer of exploitation.

Here is another one I had not heard of before: taking a cut of the wages the lowest paid have earned and are entitled to get into their hands/ pockets/ bank accounts ...

Yeah, I was this close (*pinches forefinger and thumb a millimeter apart) to posting that repost, but decided against at the last second.

Lots of sexual comments and reposting of explicit gay porn. I'd belive his account had been hacked, but it's all in-between posts with political commentary, so there's now way he could have missed it. And that he's been caught in a social media peado trap.

This is nuts. Looks like I chose wisely not to repost.

He's followed by most of the Labour front bench. They'd have had his posts appearing on their timeline.

Although, it could be a diversion tactic for Labour to send out some of their white nonces as sacrificial lambs to take the heat off the "community".

Seems like Two Tier is keen to emulate the Boris style of leadership where he “stands by” his ministers when it’s clear their position is untenable, allow a week of bad press to damage the party then they resign (get sacked) anyway
