To be fair, I suspect this is a rescheduled holiday from last year, and was originally booked pre-pandemic. The government's inability to deal with border control has been one of their biggest failings throughout the pandemic and will cost us again. The delay to red listing India is a baffling mistake and it looks like they will once again faff on making a difficult decision to halt the spread only to be forced into introducing more severe restrictions later down the line.

While you may not be surprised that I'm sticking up for a fellow lefty, Hotdogs is right on this - the Government should make it a go/no go situation.
