People digging at me and the Tories simply proves there is little or no defence to the Labour shambles. Because there is none. So these sort of comments just prove that.
On a WUM? Get real. I love this country and want one that helps my children and grandchildren. I don’t give a damn whether that Red or Blue. I have no party allegiance at all. Simply want to see the country grow.
What I am seeing right now is disturbing. Policies that are hitting people, in many cases the most vulnerable. The old, part time workers who will lose whatever small income they get, people with mortgages etc etc. That being done by a party of free loaders and liars. Not on a WUM, just f*cking angry that I voted for this bunch based on their promises and the Tories being crap.
Fixed that for you
Policies that will lead to higher inflation, higher unemployment, and higher mortgage rates, will hit the most vulnerable hardest. A commitment not to increase income tax when you can target the highest earners easily also doesn't help.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 12:10 pmCould you expand on this?Dohnut wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:22 amDelusional.

Isn't 2,000 quite close to the number they have to sack for sexual offences against women and other criminal behaviour every year ?Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2024 9:54 am If you thought the Met’s crime detection rate was sh*t already and that Labour would fix that after a decade quite rightly pointing out how the Tories got rid of thousands of officers think again

The BBC expert quoted by Starmer as verifying his views on Farmers (he is at it turns out a member of the Labour Party) has now backtracked saying it is too harsh. Bet Starmer won’t mention that.
The CBI issue some tough warnings
Old folks homes issuing warnings
Tne OBR has down rated its growth forecast through to the end of the Decade. Clucking bell
The petition for a general election has reached 2 million in just a few days. Won’t Happen of course but what a sad reflection on the utter shambles running the country.
Changes in effect rob our armed forces of even more money.
On a positive note, pleased Starmer is still watching Arsenal, in luxury no doubt.
Makes Liz Truss seem like a financial wizard
The Bank of England said interest rates will likely stay at current levels for longer. So people are unlikely to benefit from an anticipated drop. Less money in people’s pockets.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:28 pmMust have missed the interest rate shooting up.Dohnut wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 1:49 pm And so it goes on.

Fantastic comment and it seems to me you are a real defender of free speech. Added to that you come across as someone who takes things seriously and sensitively. You've got a good eye for detail and a very enjoyable writing style which it is a joy to read. Your comments are very important to this forum. Has this worked in the past?
