F*ck me her acceptance speech was dire. We are so f*cked if this is the best the governing party can do.
She couldn't even pronounce the capital of Ukraine correctly.
Johnson is definitely gonna hang around to be involved in the upcoming leadership election.

I was reading that her mum will reluctantly vote for her in a General Election. But her dad has steadfastly refused. Says it all dunnit?

Hottest PM we've ever had?

She's always been rubbish at public speaking, so I tend to ignore that. Instead I'm going to hope that, behind the veneer of a vain and generally unremarkable minster, a competent and pragmatic PM has been waiting all along. And now is her moment to shine.

She is just a plain Jane. You wouldn't notice her if she walked into you

I am certainly no fan. We have had enough of Johnson’s PR flannel, though. She will not be in power long, hopefully.

Mourdant was the one that spooked the Labour leadership most. Truss becoming pm would be a real watershed moment in the country's decline into fantasy, absurdity and irrelevance. Can't quite bring myself to believe the Tory membership will be bonkers enough to actually do it, but the fact it's even a possibility.
C&c quids in anyway.
Cashed out at just over £60, reckon Truss will have a poor campaign and be found out like Mourdant.
Sunak has the CLP behind him and I'm sure they've got some dirt to leak

Even as I was typing I knew that was probable. Maybe it might help clarify the message that she's a disaster waiting to happen, you know, for the likes of Type High and others who are hard of thinking.

Easy to be critical about people's past
All sides should get behind her in these troublesome times for the UK and support her plans
Got to say I don't expect it
Let's not write her off before she's even been appointed though?
Either way, glad to see another female leader of a major party not just the old boys club

How much money was wasted with Truss and Johnson going up to Balmoral? Surely this could have been done virtually on zoom

The same plans that Cameron, May, and Johnson had. They always talk a good fight and then fail to deliver

I do look forward to the PHD phesis conclusions that explains why white men seem to constantly rule the Labour Party (Burnham next favourite). Whilst the Tories have a competition where they had zero chance... Again and will elect their third non white geezer.
I imagine it's because they're hardwired committed to meritocracy within in the party but it's quite interesting, to me at least.
Still only ever been a White Leader
What phd "phesis" conclusions do we draw .
Never even had a Muslim London mayor for the T*ry party .

If she had any decency, she'd call a General Election, so the electorate could judge if they want 12 years of Tory misrule to continue.
Democracy is waning day by day in this country
