No re read what was written.

Our government says you get 90% coverage on the first jab which rises to 95% after the second jab. Israel have proof that the actual result is just 33% after the first jab.

Give it a rest "Alias Known As Thor" - you're a WUM and conspiracy fruit-loop. Why would anyone take notice of anything you say?

Thor wrote: Sat Jan 23, 2021 7:49 am So the magic pill being sold to the public is questionable. Israel has questioned its effictiness as cases and hospitalizations are not falling.

Israel is currently leading the global vaccination drive, with nearly 39 per cent of its citizens having had at least a single dose of a jab so far.

However, infection and death rates, as well as the numbers of people in hospital, have shown little sign of falling.

Latest figures show a further 7,027 tested positive for the virus on Thursday, with 64 new deaths from the disease. Out of 82,930 active cases, 1,918 are hospitalized. Last week, the hospitalisation figure was just over 1,000.

Addressing the apparent failure of the jab regime in cutting infection rates, Israel's top coronavirus medic said on Wednesday that the Pfizer vaccine was less effective than expected.

Real-world data from Israel's world-beating rollout showed the first dose led to a 33 per cent reduction in cases of coronavirus between 14 and 21 days afterwards in people who got the jab.

The figure is lower than the British regulator's estimate, which said it may prevent 89 per cent of recipients from getting Covid-19 symptoms.

But Sir Patrick, the UK's chief scientific adviser, told the Downing Street press conference on Friday that the Israeli data was 'very preliminary'.
Anybody who has research Pfizer will not be surprised at all that this vaccine is not all what it’s promised to be.
Anyone with any sense would be demanding their money back after this.
I take it there was no provisions put in place for this?

Actually they are now looking at 25%.

Of I was BoniO, I'd stay away from any Kentish golf courses for a bit. Let things calm down.

Thanks mate - good advice. Although I'd know to keep well clear of anyone wearing a furry hat with horns.

1348 deaths reported today. Significantly the number of serious/critical patients in hospital has gone over 4000 for the first time. Our hospitals are being put under an ever increasing load.

The question is, ARE WE BEING TOLD THE TRUTH.
We have been told the death rate is less than 1%.
It’s more than that already and the majority of people haven’t had it.

I don't trust the government but I have more trust in the data coming direct from the NHS. The link below goes to an NHS page showing Covid Hospital activity. Click on the weekly data - up to 21st Jan - and it clearly shows MV beds (capable of mechanical ventilation) occupied by Covid patients increasing. Clearly this is extremely worrying and shows the increasing stress on ICU due to Covid.

Add the Papworth beds which are for those who have been moved out of icu & off ventilators
Onto machines that take over their blood oxygenation & allow there lungs to rest .
Trying to give them q last chance to live

Sure. I just wanted to demonstrate that the load on critical care in our hospitals is increasing steadily.

Just read that patients tend to stay in hospital for 2-4 weeks so despite falling infection rates and patients hospitalised there will be significant strain for a while to come.

The staff must be at or close to breaking point.

Yes , I read somerhing to that effect,
But im not sure those who die in ambulances or at home are included
Especially if they have not had a test .

I saw a news report a couple of days ago saying over 200 front line staff have died of covid. They still go back to work every day though. Amazing people.
