Just so I know the rules for the future….

How long do they have to be in power for until we can stop auto-blaming the Tories and start blaming the people running the country?
Well the Tories were still blaming Labour for "there's no money left" and the state of the Economy up to last year at least, so shall we say 13 years ?
That’s my point though, that was obviously a sly/clever ploy during the last regime, employed liberally in the first parliament.

At some point they’re going to be accountable for their actions. For example, if they’re still burning hotels in September it’s a legitimate question to ask why they haven’t gripped the situation

The answer is “it depends”, with the specifics being, obviously, about how reasonable it is to have ecpevted the incumbents to have addressed the issue being discussed

If it’s a contentious one though where they’re blaming each other we need a mechanism to judge blame. Maybe a Boarding Court for the arbitration of blame? Politically neutral with a right and left winger and a neutral?

Beradogs, Sharky and Dunners to start with the judiciary rotating

Personally this is how I think reported posts should be judged as well

Is Beradogs the sensible centrist on the tribunal?

But the people rioting are doing so because we have a Labour government.

Would these riots not have happened under the Tories?

No. Starmer's lack of commitment to tackling the climate genocide was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Devil’s advocate….

He did scrap the Rwanda scheme on day one which was always a pipe dream but fodder and a natural suppressant to some of the loons who are kicking off

No, I don't believe so.

A lot of people are very, very angry that we have a Labour government.

If Starmer thought that his biggest obstacle to governing the UK was to get rid of the lefties in Labour any which way he can - he is fast discovering that maybe governing isn't quite as simple as he thought.

Seems like Labour’s plans to address things they don’t like is to “treat them like terrorism”

First how they’ll “SMASH the boat gangs”

Now misogyny: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/0 ... overnment/

Terrorism, in its broadest sense, is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims.

Seems reasonable to me. One man’s freedom fighter is another man’s grifty c*nt.

Hopefully their plans to smash the boat gangs will start to be implemented at some point. No rush.

Not just any old Labour government but an austerity one, very similar to the Tories. Will this make them angry or just a bit annoyed?

But they're not even promising jam tomorrow. I suspect there's no spending room left on the credit card. The Tories have Maxed it out.
