Best performance so far. Dominating.
Foden running the game and Mainoo immense.
Ironically though only level through a dodgy pen decision.

Subs will be key as Kane looks f*cked already and Foden and Mainoo will fade.
Enjoyable half

Kane looks like he's struggling out there.

One of the worst refereeing displays I’ve ever seen.

We deserved to win that. How many times in the past would we lose that game? Southgate never panics and makes the right moves and the right time. Another final - I’d never seen us play in one and now two in 3 years. Unbelievable.

Guess you didn't see many of our National League games then.

Jesus, my scotch pals are f*cking fewmin!

It was a shocking penalty call, made even worse for being VAR overturning the correct call on the pitch, but I do think on balance the better team won.

I said to one of my mates at work this evening how come we haven't seen Ollie Watkins yet play a single minute . He comes on tonight and pops in the winner . I think he's got to play on Sunday because he brings something different to our forward line . Although I think Spain has been the best team in the tournament so far it's now just a one off game so anything can happen . COME ON ENGLAND !!!!

That penalty call was one of those that would never have been given pre-VAR. But, studs were up.

However, England were the better side over the 90 minutes, so whatevs.

It’s going to be interesting watching that in an Edinburgh boozer this Sunday.

I’m sure they’ll be so much love for us from our Scottish cousins.

Southgate's tournament record really is something else. Had a lot of doubts after the Slovakia game but we were excellent tonight. Dominated the first half, responded well to the Netherlands changing it up and made the right subs. Completely deserved win.

Spare a thought for PoundhillO who refused to watch tonight.

Southgate will pick Kane even though he looks tired out and slow. Hope Trippier does not start again as left back.
